Who is behind Shoppylon.com
Shoppylon.com is operated by Basler Kommerz GmbH, a company registered in the Swiss commercial register (business ID: CHE-464.684.495), based in Selzach, Canton of Solothurn, Switzerland. From there we handle product selection, order processing, and customer service ourselves.
How we work
We are a retail business, not a manufacturer, and we do not run our own warehouse. We select products from the catalogs of international suppliers and have them shipped directly from their partner warehouses in the EU, the USA, or Asia.
That comes with one trade-off and several advantages. The trade-off: delivery takes 4 – 10 business days from order rather than one or two. The advantages: we save on warehousing and pass that on in the price, we pay all customs duties and import fees, and shipping is free on every order.
What you can expect from us
Clear costs. The amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay. No shipping fees, no handling charges, no customs bill at your door.
One point of contact. Your contract is with Basler Kommerz GmbH in Switzerland. Returns go to a Swiss address, and we handle warranty and service directly — no third-party marketplace in between.
Reliable answers. We reply in English, usually within 2 business days.
A note on time zones. We are based in Switzerland, which is 6 to 9 hours ahead of the United States. If you write in the evening your time, our reply will usually reach you the next morning.
